Essay

Over the last few weeks we’ve been making this webpage to try to educate people on who benefits from poverty. We discussed different topics regarding our main research question; we talked about us so people could identify us. We showed and explained our first conceptual map and how we later decided which branch to use and focus for the rest of the page.

We made a comparative table on the research sources we used and we classified them depending on how reliable they were. We later talked a little bit more on the authorities we used, explaining more about their work and why we chose to use them, giving credits and adding their pages in case anyone would be interested on doing more research.

When we were first researching, we came across different events that happened on different years, so we made a timeline regarding the information available on each year. After that wondered what other people thought about our research questions or other questions, so we made a survey to ask them their opinion, which we later translated on statistics so it could be easier for the reader to undestand.

Finally, we elaborated what every web page should have, a policy notice, were we explained basically everything about log files, cookies, privacy policies, consent, online privacy, among others. In a way that it could never be a misunderstanding. Then we added the rest of the work of our classmate, tagging their pages if anyone was interested.
